A new study offers the latest recommendations on managing and relieving chronic musculoskeletal pain. The aim? Make care more consistent, promote collaborative care
among various healthcare providers, and ultimately

our Vancouver chiropractic patients would like that! Guidelines for musculoskeletal conditions - low back pain, neck
pain, tension headache, osteoarthritis (hip and knee) and
fibromyalgia – involved acupuncture, spinal
manipulation/mobilization, modalities (electrical
current, laser), exercise (yoga), mind-body practices (meditation and cognitive
therapy), lifestyle changes (diet, no smoking), and referral for co-management
as necessary. (1) These recommendations echo and enhance
prior such studies. One group of researchers offered

skill while the other suggestions are all accessible
